About Dennis-Michael Broussard
Dennis-Michael Broussard, a New Orleans native, is a sought after event producer for functions throughout the San Diego community. He is the founder of Silk Road Productions, an event management and production firm, through which he has created acclaimed special events and raised thousands of dollars for numerous non-profit organizations.
He is responsible for the success of many community events in San Diego, including his past involvement with the Asian Heritage Awards, which is now recognized as the most prestigious awards event in the San Diego Asian community because of his firms involvement, as well as the ABA gala dinner and many others. He has served on the board for many non-profits and was nominated as one if the “Eight Great Young Asian-American Community Leaders” last year.
Some of the organizations he has worked with include: the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Africa Aid, the San Diego Asian Film Foundation and the Asian American Journalists Association. His work is known throughout the country, as he has received awards from congressional leaders.
Since he cannot be everywhere at once, he is sharing his passion for creating exciting events and helping non-profits raise money for their causes with other event planners through training and coaching.
